lol here in miami. flew home yesterday morning for an extended vacation and to help my parents and family.

we lost power last night after 12 temporary outs, and then nothing.

lots of wind damage. luckily, our house which survived andrew intact was spared.

would send photos but gotta find digital camera.

our 13 year old generator failed this morning. ran out and bought the last generator at northern tools (home depot, etc) sold out at 7am this morning. have 5700 watts pumping into the house.

all gas stations are closed (no power). we do have satellite TV and DSL but no air... LOL

its now a category II and following a funky path. it could turn around and come back!

yee haw!

i went through andrew, and that was so much worse. this was nothing.

however, last time (andrew) power was out for 3 weeks. hopefully we'll have something in the next 2-3 days.
