After an MAF sensor replacement from the dealer when my SES light came on (it displayed P0172 and P0175), I decided to do an adpative shift reset (flooring the gas pedal while the key is in position 2 for 25 seconds) and after excellent smooth driving for a few hours and a tankful of gas, my SES light came out again. Question:
1. Does SES light due to a faulty gas tank lid emit an error P0172 and P0175? (Rich mixture in Bank1 and Bank2)
2. If I reset the SES light using my OBD II scanner, will the light re-appear again if there really is an error present?
3. Could the reset on the adaptive shift be the cause for this.
