Was reading some Philly articles and watching some vids with reporters talking about the severity of Dawkins' spinal injury. Truth is, no one really knows the extent of it and if he will be coming back this season, if at all. I hope that isn't true, but at the same time I don't want the man coming back and hurting himself any worse.
Dawkins is the Eagles if you ask me. Quite possibly one of the best safeties they've ever had and biggest leaders in the locker room. He can't be done
If he is though, the next person on the Eagles to wear #20 will have some very big shoes to fill. In fact, if I were Eagles management, that number would be retired.
