A true "custom" box can range anywhere from 100 dollars for just your standard box that is labeled "custom" because they built it for you to hundreds of dollars trying to build a box to fit exactly where you told them.

Let me know if I can get of any help. I haven't heard the JL system but I really like our system. Probably tied for my favorite system along with the ib110 for the e46 verts. Open cabin vehicles really make the sub sing!
