When you install the driver for the IBUS interface it will create a VCP (virtual com port), the virtual device is access via a normal COM. The easy way to find out which COM is the USB VCP is to run NavCoder without the interface connected, note the COM numbers and then run NavCoder again with the interface connected, the new COM number will be the VCP.

You dont need to register NavCoder, unless you want to code the BT ULF, but you could register anyway, just to say thanks to Jochen for such a great utility
