This comment from a guy with a brand new, leather-clad Ford diesel pickup truck (sticker price somewhere north of 50 large), directed at my '01 X5 that I bought used for considerably less than half of what the Ford cost:

"Wow, you must really make a lot of money to afford a fancy car like that!"


And my 22 year old 728i with 260,000 miles on it (the 17" M3 rims and tires on it are worth same amount as the car) draws the same kind of comments.
