Whenever I'm lost or I'm about to miss an exit, I just go to the next exit and make a U-turn back onto the freeway, then get off the correct exit. Same goes for intersections and normal roads too. Maybe it's because I don't want people to point at me and be like "Ha ha, this guy's lost. Must be a tourist". (Yup. I care a lot about how my driving is perceived
. Perhaps this is why I haven't gotten a ticket yet.)
