I took no offense to your comment. I guess if I felt abandoned, I would act out too! There were, however, a small faction of criminals that made things difficult. Don't let the actions of a few overshadow the heroic efforts of its own citizens, and those that lent the city its support in rescuing the people of New Orleans. Those are the true colors.

New orleans pre-Katrina was about 500k in population. But you have Kenner, Metairie, St. Bernard, Covington, Mandeville, Slidell, Jefferson Parish, Gretna, Baton Rouge, Lafayette, Morgan City, Houma.... get my point. Thats like you not counting the evacuations in Escondito, and other cities that comprise the affected areas. I'm not trying to get in a pissing contest, I do not want you to under or over state the facts.
