Actually it's not really the OS the majority of the time. It's the apps that don't get along with the OS. Most of it is a quick fix if you keep up with app upgrades and delete apps from small companys that don't have the finances to keep up with development changes. Also installation per system is a factor to consider as well. Other folks don't follow instructions and Wham...... trouble.

Totally understood, it's just that the conventional wisdom (or at least what Apple wants it to be) is that all Apple OS's are (forgive me) "plug and play."
To hear that there's problems, with website descriptions/recommendations is more than a little amusing to me.
Most especially after all the Apple fans on this site tout it to
everyone that asks what new computer they should get...
It's cool though. Just nice to see a little crow on the other plates at the table!
