I need some advice....

My sister's 2000 Grand Cherokee died this week. (My it rest in peace...or pieces ) So, now she is on the hunt for a new-to-her (aka used) SUV. She does not want anything Chrysler. She is thinking about an XC90 or 4-Runner. She'd like to spend under $20,000.

She'd like to stay away from American made, but isn't completely ruling them out. Any input or feedback on those two or advice on other options?
