I had a somewhat similar experience with my TPM last week and rear tires "looked" ok. After a more careful check using a tire pressure gauge though, I found rear passenger side was low by 5 pounds and spotted a nail in the tread. I drove to nearby gas station and had tire plugged and now all is well. I did go through the TPM reset process to get everything back to normal. So I would guess the trick for you is to reset your TPM via the iDrive settings for Tires/Vehicle.
