It is very easy. If you really want to use that connector, just remove the subs from the front of the box (3 torx) and loosen that connector (4 torx). Once the drivers are out (2 minutes max) you will be able to see the wiring that goes from the connector up to the subs and you will be able to determine which 8 of the 12 pins are being used.

The OEM subs are dual voice coil, so there are actually 8 wires going from that 12 pin connector up to the drivers (1 positive, 1 negative wire for each side of the coil = 4 wires per sub, 8 wires total for two subs) You can wire the coils differently to match the impedance of your amp and could actually wire them up with two wires going to the amp. However, do not put a lot of power on the OEM subs, and I strongly suggest using a subsonic filter on the amp. If you hit them hard with >35 hz with more than 20 or 30 watts they will jump out of the box and exit the car. Let's just be honest here, they are not really subs.
