I am donating $1000.00 to the hurricane victims through American Red Cross (not affiliated with the International Red Cross or U.N.). I strongly encourage a shift of cash from the MODS fund to help these guys out. I think you will get a feeling of fullfilment that is undescribable if you can donate just a little bit to help these people.
We are Americans (Canadians and others welcome
) and in a time of tragedy we have to come together and help those whos lives have been turned upside down by Katrina. I am normally not a very empathetic person, but this hurricane is as devastating and just as deserving of our patriotism as 911.
