We are Americans (Canadians and others welcome  ) and in a time of tragedy we have to come together and help those whos lives have been turned upside down by Katrina. I am normally not a very empathetic person, but this hurricane is as devastating and just as deserving of our patriotism as 911.

Also people have lost everything will need clothes and blankets. We are going through our closets today. Those Guess jeans that have gotten tight are going in a box. But gather up old coats, jackets, blankets, anything that you don't need. Collection centers will up in your area.
