"ActiveX" What'll I do with this option?
My new 'Puter is running like a champ and I have resisted fiddling too much with settings, Norton, Windows set up, etc.
But, I was trying to get to a retail order site handling my digi and film images but they have an input system that requires their upload to me using "ActiveX".
I staggered into the Control Panel on my box, then to Security settings, then fiddled a bit w/ the Active X sections, to no avail; the site I want to connect to properly still does not download their "ordering sys", to me.
I didn't want to fiddle too much and screw sumpin' up.
Any comments or opins or advice on this ActiveX deal?
(As a side note, there are several sites I subscribe to that send me financial email info updates that don't have the "pics/graphics" allowed, show red Xs, until I simply click on the header in my outlookExpress that prompts me to do so IF I wanna see the pics/graphics and allow the tracking cookies, etc.)
I realize my 'puter questions read like novellas written by a remedial student but, I don't know how to phrase question in "net-net" talk, lol!
Thanks & BR,md
