Apple, which took the second spot last year, blew away the competition this year by posting a score of 51% higher than next-best Lenovo."

That being said, it's definitely worth noting that Consumer Reports fine print says "... Differences of less than 3 points are not meaningful. ..." so I would say that reliability is not an issue across brands --- 20 to 23% of laptops have repairs or serious problems.
