Found out last week that our taillight assys have a factory recall based upon the infamous "case-by-case" basis - I've shorted out 3 sockets & bulbs in the last week (all right rear tail/brake lights) - I asked my local dealer to add my name to the list, but her response was less than enthusiastic - I figure I will get better reception with my dealer in Idaho Falls

Evidently BMW is refusing to acknowledge this "recall" as to be not libel for any traffic tickets isssued due to "no brake light" - Better carry extra sockets & bulbs people
