This is what my CA at the dealer replied:

I just spoke to my Service Manager, and he said that he would be more than happy to honor it on the following terms:

• The car will not be released until the Repair Order has been paid (some aftermarket warranties pay with a credit card)
• If they do not pay with a credit card, the customer must pay and seek reimbursement from Standard Guaranty Insurance Company.
