I think you can get a convertor, not sure about the 2 smaller (10/12 pin) plugs that plug into the bottom of the big radio module plug though, you may also need to convert them too.

You could probably make a 17 round pin to 40 quadlock convertor out of two SOT leads, It would cost about £15/£20, (fairly straight forward, if you're handy with a soldering iron).

Or replace the tuner for a newer BM54.
