Hi Jochen I thought I would give you an update re your latest version and my Rover, last time I was getting comms errors and could not do anything with it However the latest version things look better but there are some odd side effects.
A scan of my car provides this (I have DVD nav, dual tuner BM24, 16:9 screen and TV tuner all from an E46)
Audio / Nav System scan conducted 24/11/2007 15:49:52
Following devices were found and are communicating:
BMBT On-board monitor:
Part number 6 934 409, version HW 59, SW 49, made by Alpine on 43/03 (October 2003)
Diagnostic index 51, Bus index 11, Encoding index 00
MFL Multi-function steering wheel:
No identification data available for this device
GT Graphics driver:

Diagnostic index 06, Bus index 14, Encoding index 07

RAD Radio:

Diagnostic index 16, Bus index 12, Encoding index 01
CDC CD changer:
No identification data available for this device
TV Video module:
Part number 6 923 268, version HW 06, SW 16, made by Loewe on 51/02 (December 2002)
Diagnostic index 02, Bus index 13, Encoding index 02
The following devices did not respond:
They are either not fitted, not turned on, or not communicating on the I-bus.
MID Multi-info display
FMID Rear multi-info display
IRIS Integrated radio information system
DSP Digital signal processor amplifier
TEL Telephone
Side effects are all the time I have Navcoder running the Bordmonitor screen is blank and can not be used, to correct this requires disconnecting the laptop and cycling the ignition and sometimes a battery off reset
Trying to read the nav settings sometimes causes a comms error
The shareware version obviously does not let me code the TV tuner so I have no idea if that will work
when I disconnected my laptop I noticed my TV tuner came back to life with German menus!
Now this is talking to my car I am interested in coding MG rover units with the BMW firmware did you get the Rover OS CD I sent you?
