Mine does that too, but I thought it was the last setting? So sometimes its the heater, but I'm not sure. I took it to service because I thought it was not normal, and although they said it is normal in a lot of BMWs (she didn't seem sure) they updated my iDrive to the new version but still no luck. Oh well, at least I got an update
but still gotta deal with the annoyance of turning off A/C everytime. Hey your name sounds familiar, weren't you bidding on my Black Y-Spoke Style 214 wheels on eBay? I can't believe they sold for $400 OVER the buy-it-now price. I guess some people loved the powder coated look. Anyway, welcome to the forum!
