And yes, they could have at least added a small USB stick for testing purposes, like the digital camera builders do, the stick they add is too smal for daily use, but at least you have something to test the basics.
I will check with my dealer soon if they confirm the "operating speed improvement" reason for removing the force feedback function.

Btw, I have connected a 4GB USB key with some 40 albums on it.
It works like a charme with all the title, genre and album info, I will never use a CD in my car anymore.
While I agree with you on the stick and its pretty fun. I use the ipod which is great and capacity is WAAAAY more. If I am only at 4GB capacity, I am considering to try a DVD with MP3's in the CD player (not changer) I do have DVD as an option in the menu there so I will try it when I get a chance. For now in my in dash CD, I have an MP3 disk with about 700MB of songs as well.
Aside from Movie capability, I dont see a need for DVD changer in glove compartment and in US its restricted to only stationary use.
