Mitchell has stated that the list is not complete, he only added the easiest targets where there was enough to avoid a slander/liable suit, but not necessarily enough to get any kind of 'legal' proof.

IMHO, roids really help pitchers more than any other position, they also help with recovery from injuries etc. I don't believe they have much effect on hitting and fielding ability. I do believe that Bonds could have broken the homerun record with or without roids (I don't know if he used them or not). I think it's likely that if he used them, he only got a handfull of extra homeruns of hits that otherwise would have hit the top of the wall or warning track. The roids would not help him make contact with the ball.

My real issue with the list is releasing the names. I do believe many players used/use roids and HGH, but not necessarily all of the ones named and most certainly additional ones. If a player if proven to use, then they should be called out, but why ruin a reputation or image without legal evidence?
