Dave,
Get a new one. Remove the spare tire, remove the four bolts (10mm) that holds the airpump or blank dome, remove the long bolt that holds the battery in, disconnect the neg terminal 1st, remove the pos terminal , disconnect the vent hose.... remove the battery.......replace in rev order..... time = 20 mins
