That's right...it seems that it doesn't have to pass regular crash tests because it's considered a motorcycle and not a car. But because it has 3 wheels, you don't need to wear a helmet nor do you need to have a motorcycle license.
When I first saw the video and pictures of the prototype at their website, I figured that there is no way it will make it to market looking like that because it has no bumpers. But apparently they are not required for a motorcycle.
The most surprising thing is the coefficient of drag which is 0.11
Looks very interesting though.
