Since I am sitting here by my PC I may as well post the dimensions.

Key points of note;

Exterior Dimensions;

1) Front track of X5 and X6 is the same, however the bodywork width at the front of the X6 is 5cm wider.

2) The X6 is 7.6cm lower than the X5, although this decreases to 6.7cm if the X6 is fitted with the optional roof rails

3) Rear track of the X6 is 5.6cm wider than the X5

4) The X6 is 2.3cm longer than the X5 and all of this comes within the rear overhang.

Interior Dimensions;

5) Front - width is same as X5, height from drivers seat to roof is 2.5cm less in X6 and this is equivalent to an X5 with a sunroof fitted.

6) Rear - width is 1.1cm narrower than X5, height is 4.5cm less than an X5

7) Boot space you should already know to be 50 litres less than an X5, but still 110 litres more than an E53 X5.
