Hello,

Can anyone help me resolve a long term problem? My Parking brake (or emergency brake or handbrake as we call it in England) is sticking on.

The shoes or pads stay on after the brake handle is released.

The dealer has had a couple of attempts to fix it but no success. Lubrication of this assembly does not seem to be part of the service schedule.

I'd like to solve it myself, does anyone know how it works or have a drawing please? Or some notes on how to solve this?

The dealer says it needs stripping down and new pads to be fitted and wants about (or $400) to do it.
