This is a great thread. I have put over 4k on my X5 that I bought in late October. What a great vehicle! As someone who used this forum extensively before I bought my X, I will say that these kinds of threads are simply invaluable to the new members, lurkers, and all those that want accurate, (relatively) unbiased views of this car.
