From your earlier posts I understood that your screen just displays 'Aux Ventilation' and no mention of heating. This would indicate that it has no knowledge of the heating option. Although it appears that a BMW dealer can actually enable this, I would be interested to know however if you can set up timers for the heater without any further intervention.

I checked today and I do have the small exhaust pipe under the car, so I also definitely have the heater and just need to enable its control.

I realise that £390 isn't just the actual remote, but it's a simple remote system add-on and as such it's a steep price and now I know it's possible, I cannot deny myself:-)
