I also love the Speedmaster, and because I am saving for it, I very well may wait for the Speedmaster. I currently have a $100 Invicta which, although was inexpensive, looks relatively nice for daily wear. It may not be a bad idea to continue wearing what I have, keep the Movada to save for more formal occassions, and just keep saving for the Omega!

Trade in the Movado for $/credit and buy the Speedmaster. IMHO Movado are kind of cheesy/tacky looking. The Speedmaster would be a good daily or formal watch. Keep the invicta for when you are detailing the X
