Although the Movado isn't my first choice of watches, it is significant to me because it's the first time I've received a gift from my mother since I moved out of my parents house over 10 years ago (when I was 14!). It would mean a lot to her if I took her out to dinner and wore it, so I think I'll hold on to it. I'll just keep saving until I can afford the Omega - hopefully I'll actually be comfortable wearing it every day (aka not too worried) after waiting so long for it.
