Agreed, that solves the problem of the tasteless posts by a couple of offensive jerks, but it only solves it for those that use the ignore feature. The maturity of some of these posts smacks of 12 year olds. I don't choose to hang out with 12 year olds. I think it is a shame that the maturity target is established by those who represent the lowest common denominator.

The moderators can decide how they will handle it, that is their role. This thread, and others like it, are simply a few votes for active moderation.
