Between the street picture of VR and the ones from Detroit I am now pretty much sold on this colour.
It's been a renaissance year for me with Red. I always choose Blue/Black/Grey/Silver for my cars, but got my first taste of living with red when I drove EVO magazine's RS4 down to southern spain to compare with the (red) launch E92 M3. 4-days driving it made me realise that I could live with red and subsequently when I came back we ordered a red Audi TT for my wife.
What concerned me with the X6 was being unsure how much attention I wished to attract. I had an Estoril Blue X5 4.6is many years ago and was on the recieving end of some road-rage incidents that I put down to its luminescent colour. I changed to Le Mans Blue for my next two 4.8is X5s, stopping off at Sterling Grey in between, but concluded that whilst I preferred a dark-ish colour on the X5, it would need to be a 'rich' colour. Le Mans Blue is perfect and VR seems to be closest to the attributes I admire in that colour.
