when i tracked my cbr600 i smoked people with 1100cc++ bikes with all their mods out on track regularly... and the sad part is i'm not a fast rider. i was not at the level of power sliding/drifting nor controlled rotation yet.

its the same with the car world.. people do all these "performance" mods without truly knowing what it affects nor do they have the skill to utilize it... and they claim they are "used to the power". these are the same people that get spanked by the fast drivers in a spec miata with 1/4th their hp.
It couldn't have been put better. A lot of people get into trouble because they 'think' they know how to ride, but can't handle the power or the bike. The 600cc-750cc bikes are more than enough, esp on the street.
