Some one is making these Sonys...

I have the old Konica-Minolta body version, the 5D, bought just
after KM sold "rights" or mfg'ing or...? to Sony.

I've fiddled with the new Sony. It is much more elegant than my
cheapazz KM. Tempting due to my old Minolta film cam lenses.
