I searched the archives but couldn't find anything on this. I can't stand the way the rain sensing "feature" completely takes over control of the wipers. I'd like to disable, but even my dealer couldn't figure out a way to do it without also turning off the automatic headlights. Apparently they're tied together.

I liken the erratic behavior of the wipers thinking they're smarter than the driver to the way Microsoft tries to amend the way a word is spelled because the software thinks it's smarter than the user (which unfortunately is often the case.)
