Michelle, when you DO buy, I'd strongly suggest you check out what Costco is selling. They have a good selection at very good prices, but best of all is if you decide you don't want/like it within 90 days, you can return it for a full refund, no questions asked. Other retailers give you a few weeks at most, and even then may charge you a restocking fee.
Often people go only with a low sale price at first, then soon find they want a better/larger/fancier model within a short time. With Costco's return policy, you can hedge your bets a bit, and return the set you discover you don't want after all, in exchange for a better set you DO want. Even if it's not from Costco.
And I agree - the HDMI signal will really show off what the set can do. Much better than any sort of RGB connection. Do your homework before you buy. It's an investment worth making. HDTV rocks!
