You can do it either way, but I thought you said the acq. fee of $685 (which, by the way, is marked up $60 from the BMWFS std. fee of $625) was part of your $2K down?
What money factor are you using? BMWFS will allow the dealer to mark this up by .0004 (equivalent to about 1% annual interest), which is the "YSP" referred to in the link above = dealer profit.
