Good day to all! Sorry for my bad english, i'm from Kazakhstan. I am engaged in a problem of absence of maps for Kazakhstan on the regular equipment MK1-MK2. I have BMW 740iL E38 with MK1 equipment, but don't have any maps to internal GPS unit. The format of this map is unknown. Whether you can help me to find dump of GPS EPROM memory or to advise as to remove(take off) it from the automobile. I can dissassembly it by IDA Pro and understand it structure.
Have you any compilers or software to make CD reading on MK1-MK2? Whether there is at you an information on the regular processor and system of commands. I shall be very glad to find any information and very grateful. Thanks. I wait for the answer.
