I havn't heard of an of those local names. I'm sure this subject has been beaten to death here, but I wouldn't buy gas from any brand that wasn't on the Top Tier gas list as recommended by BMW when possible. I really like Chevron. The BMW fuel system cleaner that you get from most dealerships is actually made by Chevron. If you look at the bottom of the bottle you will find their logo.
