You're right, of course. But I think I'll follow a little closer to the Bavarian recommendations than the BMW recommendations. Brake Fluid I'd change every 2 years as my other BMW, but oil, plugs, air filter and other inexpensive, but critical items will get changed sooner than BMW recommends. Cheap insurance and I enjoy working on cars.
