Recent travels and X5 observations
Hi,
been travelling a little just recently. A couple of weeks ago saw me in Big Bear enjoying a party with some good friends. We rented a gorgeous lakeside house and enjoyed good times. 'TWas also an opportunity for the X5s to hang in the garage. See photo of my and two other X5s. Its funny; all are 4.4, TiAg, non-sport. Otherwise they are all a little unique. One has nav, two do not. One has ride height, two do not. One is tow-hitch-less; two have hitches. One is black leather; two are grey. And so on and so on. Its nearly impossible for one X to be completely identical to another !
Funny thing, they all have slightly different engine tones.
Also visited the old country of England and in London I saw X5s all over the place. Nearly all were 3.0d (didnt see a single 3.0 'gasoline') with a few 4.4i and a couple of 4.6/4.8. In SoCal, TiAg is the overwhelmingly common colour whereas in London, something like 75% seem to be black !!
