Ya, i am running the nokians without studs on 18" x 8.5" they are good tires, but a little loud, esp on the highway, i know winter compound will be lounder than A/S, but they are little much.

but as everybody is saying. The weakest link is which tire and not the x5. so next year I am buying nokian with studs. but also for better braking in the winter season.
a little more snow and the X5 disappear....
