HTC TyTN II (Kaiser) reboot problem

My previous phone HTC TyTN (Hermes) worked well with my BMW Bluetooth handsfree (X3, manufactured 10/2004) using varios phone ROMs and Radios, starting from the original WM5 to many custom versions of WM6 which I tried. Supported functionalty was phonebook integration and calling, but no SMS messages. That was perfect for me.

Now I purchased a brand new HTC TyTN II (Kaiser), which seems to have serious problems with the car Bluetooth. It pairs ok, but immediately when the actual bluetooth communication starts, the phone always reboots itself. The problem is known to other users also, as can be read for example here.

This seems to be a common problem also with another phone model which is T-Mobile Dash (HTC S620) as can be read here and here.

I have tried so far:

- Updated phone firmware from the original ROM 1.56.414.2 Radio 1.27.14.04 Protocol 22.45.88.07H to a custom made WM6.1 edition (3.0 Sleuth WWE), Radio: 1.64.08.21, Protocol: 25.74.40.02H

- Updated the car software to the latest version 4-1/91 (from Nav-SW disk V30) as adviced here.

- Tested with and without JETware extension found here.

I have recorded a log of the bluetooth communication using JETware extension, please see the attached file. At the end of the log file you can find a row with strange characters apparently causing immediate reboot to the phone. The problem is not caused by Jetware, because the phone behaves exactly the same without Jetware.

Any ideas how to sort this out?
