RR, I'm sorry to hear and not so happy to see... However, like others have said, you can always weld up the sub frame, replace brackets, and joints... Hard to tell the full extent from the pictures, but I've seen worse.

Good Luck though RR, keep us posted.

However hopefully to cheer you up, I have and do use my X5 off the road... It was actually a lot more fun than these pics look.
