There's a lot of posts covering this "upgrade". One guy said "... the light output certainly won't be white. The purest white is in the 4300 to 4500 K range. 6000K will look very blue, and will lack intensity. I changed my lamps to 5300K a while back and hated them because it made it too difficult to see the road at night, so I went back to the originals. 6000K would be even worse. If you want your fogs to match your headlamps, get bulbs in the 4300 to 4500 range."
Sounds like it's not clear if this is a good change to make.
