This has happened to many members, including myself. The needle wouldn't move from "E" until I drove more than 50 miles. The dealer wanted $500 to replace the part...I said 'no thanks!' I decided to try using only Shell gasoline, as suggested by other members here. Since the switch to Shell (roughly two years now), my fuel gauge has been operating perfectly. *KNOCKING ON WOOD*
