That clip and the ancillary clips are sorta rah rah and "put together";
that criticism is beside the point, however...he's a smart, strict "constitutionist"
with libertarian leanings and I like him a lot. But, where the rubber meets the road,
he had/has no chance in our system.

Maybe a slightly better chance had he been Romney good looking with Obama's speech
skills; he has neither. People like him are looked upon as smart, sorta on the money and
"interesting" in our system, but they remain as very small, minor agitators from the back
of the peanut gallery, that have little impact on the current scale and demagoguery of
politics, imo.

To have this whole "process" come down to a lifelong aged senator vs a semi-neophyte
senator shows what the system allows for...the process, the selections, and the manner
in which we elect anyone beyond dog catcher is corrupt, hollow and hardly worth the effort, imo.
Rant over...it is what it is, but that's all of our faults.
