Correction to above:
Leaving the key in the ignition for 15 minutes did NOT kill the battery. What happened was that when I came back the instruments would not fire up, nor would the car. So it seemed like the battery was totaly dead. When I went to the trunk the trunk light was working, as was the release servo. Then I noticed that the dome light worked too. I tried locking and unlocking the car. I tried my backup key. Nothing would get it to turn over or make the instrument or Nav screen turn on. So I put it on a 2amp trickly charger for about 15 minutes, removed it, and the car then fired up like nothing had ever happened. I'm at a loss for words
