whoopy-do is on a distinguished road
Fredo i was under the impression that some of the very early potentially ex demonstrators were not ED's aprox 3/4 weeks before the week 40 dead line..

I have a week 48 build and i have the shutters and auto hold too...

Quicksilver - Effecency dynamicis is basically an emmisisons change that BMW made to most of the range, "aparently" it means more performance with less emmissions, it has effected us here in the uk due to the tax banding of the vehicle...Any diesel X5 built after week 40 dropped below the 225g CO2 (3.0d now 216gCO2 previously 231g CO2) it lowered the anual tax on the car by £95 plus allows you to dodge the £25.00 london congestion charge and pay only £8.00, the SD model also dropped below this figure of 225 imposed by the government here.

BMW achieved it with tweeks to the aerodynamics and engine management although i cant see any aerodynamic difference with the pre week 40 builds...

This very small change will potentially have bigger impacts here in the UK than the US on residual values of the car... i hope this helps. if not check this thred for more info ...

im not sure what happened with the petrol versions to be honest.

Correct me if im wrong but i thought features such as auto hold etc were not part of the efficiency dynamics but just additions to the 2008 spec???
